I doubt very much if the McSweeney's share a common y-chromosome with the O'Neills, despite the (highly unlikely and politically motivated) claims of an ancient O'Neill lineage. The fact is that the McSweeneys are of Norse descent, via the Kings of Man, and NOT the 1200ad Suibne of O'Neill ancestry as claimed in some pedigrees. The historical and eponymous Sween died 1034AD and was styled 'Son of Cinead (Kenneth), King of The Gal-Gaedhil'. I'd love to do a DNA survey for the MacSween, as I'd bet my house on a common Norse origin!
Incidently, the O'Neill's claim a Milesian descent back to Eremon (ca.1400BC).
If your y-chromosome turns out to be a neolithic one from near Asia (Turkey) then there might be some truth to the O'Neill claim (otherwise just be happy that you can claim some connection to the illustrious MacSween - the most famous warrior aristocracy this side of the Danube for over 400 years!)
