Hi Angela
Whitechurch is part of the Parish of Blarney. When I last tried contacting, the Parish Priest of Blarney was Rev.Fr. William Bermingham. I could not obtain an email reply last October'09 after trying twice over two weeks. A neighbouring parish priest was helpful but also could not find a person to assist from Whitechurch. So I did not progress any further. I agree that a phonecall would now be the best approach. I was suggested to lookup Cork County Council and Cork Data but also found deadends. The “Consolidated Index to Gravestone Inscriptions of County Cork” does not include Whitechurch cemetery. Guessing you've looked at to www.coynediocese.ie
I found this article interesting - "Fr. Daniel McSwiney 1797-1845 - A famine victim" Bandon Historical Journal, 14 (1998),32-33 Bandon historical journal.
Look forward to hearing your progress, Matthew
