McSweeney of Kilmichael Co., Cork

The McSweeney's in my search are: Rose McSweeney and a brother Michael McSweeney. Here is what I have. Michael McSweeney born about 1852 emigrated to the U.S.A. about 1878/79 settling in St. Louis, Missouri. His wife was Maria Mullins. Michael became a police officer in 1884 and passed away in 1887. The newspaper notice of his death mentioned that he was a native of "Kilmichael" County Cork. Rose McSweeney born in Nov. 1870 emigrated to the U.S.A. about 1883 also settling in St. Louis. Rose married Bernard Conroy in 1890 and lived in St. Louis until her passing in 1944. At this point can only assume that Rose also was a native of "Kilmichael," County Cork.
Anxious to hear from anyone having similar info. on McSweeney's or the parish of Kilmichael. Understand that County Cork did have a large contingent of McSweeney's in and around Macroom, County Cork.
