Yes -- before Getrude died -- she and her
husband Harry owned cabins in Port Jarvis, NY. As I think I posted, my mother spent
her summers there with her brother, Tony,
who is also deceased. My mother's younger sister who is several years younger than she (Tony was first my mother 2 years after and I think her younger sister was 4+ years) also spent time there. Getrude's daughter is still around there. Yes -- there were
plenty of cabins and canoes :-)

PS Albert -- what is your mother's name and
how does she fit into the "tree" -- my
mother's mother is ill and we hope that she (Eleanor Pache McVicker) will get better. She wants very much to find out if her half brother from her father's (Patrick J. McVicker, Jr.) second marriage (Patty I think they called him, he would/is Patrick J. McVicker the III) is, is he still alive, etc. She lost touch with her older sister Katherine (? I may have gotten the name wrong I am tired it's been a long day...) but I do know that she married someone I believe is Italian and had 2+ sons (one named Denardo -- which is strange because channel 4 here in Pittsburgh has a distinguished older gentleman who has done the weather for years named Joe DeNardo. All unrelated I am sure. I have a small "tree" that my grandmother Eleanor provided for me -- but it is on my other computer.
