I am looking for information on a Reverend Thomas Martin McWhinney (1823-1906) who served as pastor of the First Christian Church in Franklin, Ohio in the 1870s. His wife was Amanda (1824-1901). Due to the close geographical proximity, I wonder if there could be a relationship. What town are you in, by the way? I am in Springboro, which is right next to Franklin. My relatives were from Eaton and New Paris (Rosses, Hartmans, Mikesells). I am no relation to the McWhinneys (that I know of), but am interested in T M McWhinney because I am researching a couple of pastors from this church in the 1800s.
