Looking for any connections to the story passed down to me:
Family History from Merril Leslie Sigler's Notes:
Ellen born October 26, 1810 grew up and married John Rhinehart. They went to Oakland, Maryland, where he farmed and raised two adopted children, a boy and a girl. The boy turned out to be a railroad man.
Ellen dies and John married the second time. John Rhinehart died about 1879 on the farm, he had retired and had a few acres.
William Stephan Sigler's Note's (Merril's Father):
Mrs. Furgeson was John Rhyneheart 2nd wife. Lou Sanders was her maiden name.
He (John Rhinehart) died she married Fangerson they had 2 or 3 children. She had our old bible.
A Mrs Wotring obtained bible and has a daughter Mrs. earnest Shriver.
Mrs Grouls in love with old Geo. Sigler she lives near. Might have bible.
Any clues, connections would be greatly appreciated.
