Hi Ken,

I went to the Garrett County Historical Society this afternoon and did some searching for you.

The only thing I came across, at this time, is a 1880 Census that has a Green family listed which may include William Green if he was born about 1865.

9-10 Green
Samuel 34 Coal Miner WL -- --
Catharine 32 Wife WL -- --
William M 12 Son-Laborer MD WL WL
Frederick 11 Son-Laborer MD WL WL
Arthur P 10 Son-Laborer MD WL WL
Hannah 8 Daughter MD WL WL

Now this would make William born in 1868 if this is the family you're looking for.

I can send you a copy of this page if you wish.

If you've found anything else on his parents, please let me know and I can go looking more.

Any idea of names of children for William and Mary? Again, I can go looking if you can give me something else to look for.
