Looking for any information on this rather obscure surname.
My ancestor, Israel Argadine, was born in 1790's Germany and married Mary Servison in Kent Co, Maryland in 1820. It's possible his surname morphed somewhat upon his entrance in the U.S. and began as something else. I have not been able to establish any information previous to 1820.
Any help on parentage, immigration history, or connections in Kent County would be of great help.
