I have run across Harbaugh records that show that Michael Flickinger was married to Anna Mary Harbaugh, daughter of Ludwig Harbaugh, of Maryland. I have a public tree on Ancestry.com with more information (Flickinger Family Tree). Robert E Flickinger's book on The Flickinger Family History says that Mary predeceased Michael, however the Harbaugh family records do not indicate this. I am looking to see if there are records of Mary living with another family, possibly Harbaughs, in Ohio before she died. I can't find her burial records. There is a possibility that she and Michael were separated or divorced and that she didn't predecease him. Divorce was not the norm then and could have been kept hidden. Does anyone have any information that might shed light on this? I am also unable to locate information on Michael Flickinger's immigration or his parents.
