John David and John Gilbert Zieler - please help

I am working on my husband's genealogy and we are having a really tough time getting beyond his g-grandfather. We have John David Zieler who was born in Maryland in 1888 and died in 1987 in Pinellas County Florida - his son was John Gilbert Zieler born in 1914 John Gilbert's son was Kenneth Zieler b. 1948 and then my husband - Donald Jay Zieler b. 1969. This is all we have been able to get so far and any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I really want to 'crack this case.' Please let me know if anyone has any info -
