William Matthews 1756-1819 northern Baltimore Co. Md.

William Matthews came from Devonshire England around 1775 and served in the Rev. War with the Upper Battalion Baltimore till around 1780 or so. Still trying to find out where in Devonshire and the family link. I have been tracing the Mathew line out of Wales into England for years but no luck.
