Edward Matthews of the Bentley Springs area of Baltimore Co. Md. someone tracing the Tracey line says born in Pa. but I don't believe so. He lived most of his life beside William Matthews in northern Baltimore Co. Md. who came from Devonshire England around 1775 on the ship "Elizabeth" but looks like he jumped ship and was in the New Castle gaol in 1775. Edward married Sarah Tracey in 1781. Anyone have any info.?
