ADDAMS of the Eastern Shore of Chesapeake Bay

I'm a newcomer to Genealogy.com and have done extensive research on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay Eastern Shore from the 1600s. My ADDAMS Family Research starts with Thomas ADDAMS who came from England aboard the PRIMROSE bound for Virginia in 1635 at the age of 21. He was counted as a headright for John NEALE. His son Phillip ADDAMS was a firstcomer to Somerset County, Maryland in 1663.

I've identified over 10,000 family members and 3300 families -- but don't stop at the name ADDAMS. During the 1st 150 years most first-comer families intermarried and of the original families in Somerset County, Maryland the ADDAMS family married into most of them.

If you need help in 17th Century Maryland genealogy or have a connection to the ADDAMS family I'm happy to share my resources and research.

Kathy
