Can someone help me out? I started with almost no information 30 years ago. Now I know my 4th great-grandfather was Abijah Davis b. 1770-1775 and his wife's first name is Catherine b. 1770-1775. Their children were born in Maryland. I believe the marriage in 1796 in Worcester County, MD, St. Martin's Church, is of my 4th great-grandparents, but no verification. And no verification of where in Maryland their children were born. The children are Sarah A., born 1798, Joshua born 1804, and Thomas, born abt. 1806. I know they lived in Maryland and Kentucky before they settled in Jefferson Co. IN about 1827-29. Because Abijah's 1838 will originally had name of Joshua crossed out, some people in Indiana think he was not a son. I don't know. Abijah paid part of administrative fees for Edward Davis, who died in IN in 1832. I think Edward might be a brother, born 1780-1790. Are there any Davis, Pointers, or any other cousins who can help me out?
