Harry, Thank you very much for your reply. I have seen the website that you referred to. Did you notice on it that she says John Rust owned the "Westchester" property on Nov 19, 1681 and that he willed it to William & Robert Boucher in 1695? (I dont have access to the "Land Records of Worcester Co MD, or "Along the Seaboard Side" that she cites) and I couldnt find a Will of John Rust for 1695/96, but only found a ref. to an Inventory, so I dont know where she found that John Rust willed it to Bouchers.) My ancestor John Crew of Sussex Co DE also owned a tract of land called "Westchester" in Sussex Co DE! And Robert Boucher witnessed his Will. I know that the two properties were connected somehow since they had the same name, and now linked to some of the same people. John Crew's daughter Elizabeth also married a man named John Rust about 1723. Your post led me to some interesting reading, I looked at your other posts on Sir Thomas Wyatt, at first I thought he had been involved with Charles I, but saw that he was earlier, so he couldnt be, it caught my eye because I had noticed over the years that I kept running into names associated with Oliver Cromwell and Charles I regicides, but never found any direct link to my family, but I noticed that there was a Wyatt marriage to a Bourchier (could that be also Boucher?) Would you know anything about Robert and William Boucher of Worcester Co MD and Sussex Co DE? In Sussex Co DE the named changed to Butcher. Thanks again, Linda Notify Administrator about this message?
