Madeline,

Bangor's vital records, for the time period you are looking for, were lost in a fire. I checked the birth and death records for you anyway, there are only 4 Herseys in the births and all after 1864. There were 10 in the deaths, two in the early 1800's and the remaining eight after 1864.

If you have names other then Emma Francis I will check those.
