..........Just east of Cony Road (and south of Rt. 17) in Augusta, there is a subdivision called Lambard Farm. It was named after the original settler who resided on the larger tract of land. I checked the 1790 census and there is a Daniel Lambert listed for Hallowell (Augusta set off 1797--Kennebec County set off from Lincoln 1820 which further complicates issues in research for one).

..........Old Lincoln County deeds and proprietor grants prior to 1820 pertaining to Kennebec County may be found at the Kennebec Registry. Barney had to meet this gal somewhere and it most likely happened to be in Augusta (Hallowell).
