I need documentation of PARENTAGE for the Joseph MOODY b.c1710 who married Elizabeth DECKER in NH.
A lot of people show his parents as DAniel Moody and Mary Norton but most of the ones who show them as parents do Not have any sources cited.
Those who do have just Cut and Pasted other peoples gedcom's or possible erroneous data.
The one website I did find with any credible sources cited had this to say about Joseph being a son of Daniel's, that the connection must be considered an error as there is No Proof at this time (that Joseph is a son of Daniel's).
Joseph son of Daniel is Question Marked.
It is possible that This Joseph is a son of a Daniel MOODY but just Not the one who married Mary Norton and that This Joseph of Scarboro, ME does Not link to the William 1 Moody line of Newbury, MA as everyone has him placed but again with No Documentation cited.
I need Help with this one if anyone has or has access to documents that might reveal the Parents of This Joseph MOODY who married Elizabeth DECKER.
The NEHGR has This Joseph Moody (son of DAniel and Mary NOrton MOODY) as the one who married Mary NUTTER so either that is the correct connection or the NEHGR was as confused as I am. They also have his last name listed as "MUNDY" could have led to the original error of placement too.
Then another entry has that Hatevil NUTTER b.c1710 (same birth year as the supposed Joseph MOODY who m. Elizabeth DECKER), and his wife Hannah Decker, had a daughter Mary NUTTER bapt. 1738/39 who married in Newington, [NH] in 1760 to Joseph MOODY of Scarboro, ME. So SOMETHING here is Much Askew!
I want the Parents of the Joseph MOODY b.1710 who m. Elizabeth DECKER.
