Thank you for your reply on Jonathan CARLTON. I do know that he was born ca. 1733 in Andover, MA and that he died in Frankfort in 1786. His wife, Hannah also died there. I wonder if she ever married.
I have all the records on the old families of Woolwich on the table next to me and I'm at the town office almost every week. In the old Woolwich books, it says that he left Woolwich with his family ca. 1785 and went to Frankfort. I now know the reason I couldn't find anything about him is that he died the following year. Jonathan had Hannah, Jonathan, Jr., John and possibly Mary. I don't have any information on John except that he was born in 1759 and supposedly died in 1834.
