I have searched for approximately 30 minutes and can find nothing on Eula and Hannah. I think I found James R. in the 1930 Census >TX >Motley Co >Matador >Dist. 1. His wife was named Delma. She was born in Texas; father born in Arkansas; mother born in Georgia.

The kiddos, Robert J, b. approx 1924 and daughter Marion, b. approx 1928, are nowhere to be found. I went to the Social Security Death Index (http://ssdi.rootsweb.com ) and left three messages for three people named Marion M. (M. for middle name Meacham), born in Texas. Since Marion is the common spelling of a boy's name (MariAn is for girls), I have no idea if I'll come up with anything.

I'd suggest you post FIVE more messages: one for wife Annice, one each for Eula, Hannah Rilla, James R. and Royal V. Separate names are more likely to stand out if someone is searching. I'd also to go the Motley County GenForum site and post the exact same messages. (I wish GenForum had a way to type a message, then post to more than one site rather than having to type the same message over and over.)

If you wish to write to me direct, write to me at oilfieldbrat@shreve.net.

"P. A." Almquist
