Susie Woodruff Meacham, 88, of Park Road, Ray, Ohio, died Aug. 2, 1998
at
Heartland of Jackson. Born March 10, 1910, in Jackson County, she was
the
daughter of the late Joe and Elizabeth Farmer Woodruff. Also preceding
her
in death was her husband, Ray, in 1985; an infant daughter, Connie;
three
brothers, Wendell, Lorie and Stanley; grandson, Jeff Duncan; and
son-in-law,
Bernard Tennant. Mrs. Meacham was a loving mother, grandmother and
friend to
all. She will be sadly missed by her family, a host of friends and
neighbors
and all who loved her. She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte
(Harry)
Kisor of Jackson and Carlene Tennant of Ray; five grand-children, Patsy
C.
Tennant, Sandy (Preston) Mustard, Cheryl (Rick) Brooks, Dale (Twila)
Tennant
and Greg (Patty) Duncan; eight great-grandchildren, Amber, T. J., Neka,
Terry, Austin, Hayleigh, Falicia and Shannon; one sister-in-law, Helen
Woodruff of Ray; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at
Mayhew
Funeral Home, Jackson, on Wednesday, 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be
held
there on Thursday, 11 a.m., with Rev. Robert Fulton officiating, and
burial
in Hilltop Cemetery.
