I am interested in this family. I am researching Thomas R. Foster born ca.1850-52 possible son or grandson of Elmira Foster; his great-grandmother was Nancy, and also there is a "H" Foster; these Fosters may have come from South Carolina. Hillary Foster is buried in Moore/Foster plot at Vicksburg (Cedar Hill cemetery); T.R. Foster married my great aunt Mary Sophia "Molly" Moore. T.R. Foster lived in Mobile, AL and Vicksburg, died about 1939-40. They had at least three children, two of which may have died young. Would like to know where these Fosters came from, before South Carolina. I have some of the Foster heirlooms, but no family documents other than censuses which only confuse me. Thanks,

Peggy Dyas
