I do believe I knew the family Tony belonged to, but I no longer have any notes on my files.

I am reasonably sure he is a descendant of Robert Bartlett Meacham who died in Randolph County, Alabama in 1886. He was a Methodist Minister who lived 30 years in Heard County and moved about 1870 to Randolph County. He lived between two of his children. He was also the youngest child of Henry Banks Meacham, Sr. who served in the American Revolution from North Carolina. Listed in Soldiers of Georgia, but I don't believe he served in Georgia.

Jerry Meacham had a list of all of them at one time. Maybe you can find him. I am a descendant of James Wesley Meacham's second family. His first wife died at the age of 35 and he married Mary T. Boyd, my grandmother.

Good luck.
