Morrison was my great-great grandfather. Appears in 1850 Census for Sangamon Co., IL, with mother, Mary, two brothers, three sisters. Morrison was 18 in 1850, born in NY. Sister born in NY in 1839, another b. IL 1842. Last sibling born IL 1848. No father listed. May have died 1847-1850. Am searching for him. Morrison married Malisa Bacon in Sang. Co. in 1854. Can't find Morrison in 1860, but is in 1870 census in Menard Co., IL, with Malisa and five children, including my ggf, Joseph Nathan Meacham. Morrison is in Springfield in 1880 census. Can't find after that. Any help appreciated. Will share information.
