I've come across a will made by James Mealing of Bristol in an area called Carolina Mow in 1840 (with a codocil in 1846) who may be relevant to your research. His wife was Ann Mealing.
It mentions his daughters, and a grandson John Mealing who may be my great-great-grandfather.
It's available to buy over the internet from the Public Record Office in England.
It's handwritten without punctuation so it takes a while to decipher the writing!
Hope this helps.
If you come across any Mealings who ended up in Chester having originated in High Wycombe I'd like to know!
