Mean Family from England
Posted by: TINA TOWNSEND Date: August 21, 2000 at 18:13:37

I am looking for information about my gggrandfather, Robert Joseph Mean. The only information that I have is what has been passed down and later records. Robert was supposedly born in Birmingham, England on February 14, 1861 to John Mean and Elizabeth Stone. Robert's siblings were supposedly Sarah, Thomas, Willie, Amy, Maria, and John.
Robert's mother died when he was 4 years old and his father remarried an unknown catholic woman with 2 boys. When Robert was 14 years old, his father and wife, her two boys, Robert and sister Sarah went to St. John, NB, Canada. The other siblings supposedly stayed in England.
This is all the information I have on Robert Mean, besides information after he went to Canada and his descendants.I use supposedly, because I do not know if parents, dates, and siblings are correct. If anyone has heard of this family, please contact me at Superrmom68@aol.com

Thanks in advance,
Tina Townsend
