I have all my stuff packed away right now, I will get back with you on that. If I can remember correctly, Mary Jane..nickname Maymie or Mammie was a second marriage to William Zachariah Sullins. I have not been able to find alot on the Medders beyond that. I will see if I can find more from my cousin who is the real workhorse on the genealogy of the family. As for Spindletop, as far as I know there is nothing new. My brother contacted the lawyers that had contacted us about five years ago to check on things, and they told him it was all still in litigation. The last I personally heard was the letter I recieved requesting my birth certificate, also in the early 80's. I have never fully understood all that is going on with that.
