Did you try writing to the county courthouse for birth records? Usually the clerk's office charges about $5.00 to send a copy of the birth record, if one exists. Did you F. R. Medders ever live in Ky? I have a Medders or Meadors cousin in Ballard county, Ky whose father or grandfather was a Richard Meadors. Do you have any Dike or Dyke's in your line? Good luck, Janice
