Hi,
I am very interested in the Ann MEECH from Somerset.
I wonder if she was born there or just lived there. We are looking Ann MEECH b. Bothenhampton Dorset 1843/1844, the daughter of Samuel and Ann MEEECH (nee GALE)baptised 14/01/1844 Bothenhampton.

There is no evidence that she died but she only appears on the census for 1851 and not again. Did she move to Somerset and is she the Ann MEECH that is being sought now?

Have you any other information that will help to identify your Ann(e?). We know that Ann's sister, Mary, was in Cardiff with her husband, Edward HIX, b. Castle Cary Sommerset c.1852 as they had a daughter b. there in 1875- Annie HIX. They are to be found on the census 1891 RG12/1663 Folio 27 page10 schedule 66 and Page9 schedule 55 for Annie with grand parents Samuel and Ann, living in Bothenhampton Dorset.

Any ideas?

Bernard
