Thanks, Nancy. I've been trying to sort out my Cavitt information, seems like every generation repeated the names, Alex'r, Patric, Moses, John, Richard, Michael--does get confusing. But in reply--I think Agnes and Nancy are the same person, Nancy being a "nickname" for Agnes traditionally. And Moses had a brother John, but I don't know who (or if) he married., so maybe whoever wrote Egle's Notes mixed up John & Moses?? I have Moses's will, written ca 1802, which speaks of his wife Agnes..and a brother John. It also refers to lawyer Andrew Jackson, who could be (or not) the soon-to-be President! Quite a historic document!
