Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi, Peggy,

Or should I say, "HI, COUSIN?" We currently have a little newsletter (about 12-14 pages) going for about 50 of the descendants of John Meech and Hannah Yeoman. It's not a big deal, but each month a member's line is featured that goes back to John and Hannah. There are other features too, such as stories about an ancestor or allied line, a featured cemetery, a featured census month, birthdays, queries, pictures of old homes, people or tombstones, etc. Then once a month, (mid month) I send out a descendancy chart of each of John and Hannah's 7 kids. Also a roster is sent out with everyone's name and e-mail address and line they are researching. You and I are descened from John and Hannah's 7th child, Moses, down to Abel Meech and Charity Mack. They had 14 children. Catherine was one and John A Meech, whom I am descended, were siblings. Let me know how you are descended because I don't have your line. Two other researchers on Henry Cooper and Catherine Meech are Tom L Cooper and Evik James Pogue. Do you know them?

Please e-mail and I'll answer any questions and provide other info.

Jeannette Maloney
