I'm somewhat familar w/ Frank Meech and Grace Wintermute. I'm assuming that they are somehow related to my meech line, but I'm not sure how. My 2g grandfather, Matthew Meech had a brother, George, and sister, Sarah. It's been assumed that all 3 were born in England and moved to the Palmyra WI area in the mid 1800's. Matthew was married there and moved to Kansas w/ sis, Sarah and her husb, Oliver Oleson. George Meech stayed in WI. Sarah and Oliver remained in KS, but Matthew and fam moved to Riceville/Cedar Rapids area of IA. This is where Frank and Grace enter the picture around the 1880's. Frank is mentioned in the Matthew Meech family Bible and also photos. Also many postcard writings from Grace. Later the Matthew Meech fam moved to MN, where many of decendants still work the same farmland. Frank and Grace also came to MN, living in the same area of Orton Twp., or Nimrod MN. I have always thought that Frank may be a nephew of Matthew Meech, because of photos, bible, and migration patterns. Also poss. that Frank was Matthew's son, but none of my living ancestors could verify that. I have had a really hard time researcing this family because of the numerous times they moved. Any help would be appreciated. Jeremy
