I thought Harriet's husband's name was John Harrington and it was his family for which Harrington Lake was named. It is also there in Gatineau Park. Do I have his name spelled incorrectly as Harrington or was their a surname change? Please let me know so that I might correct my records or at least make a notation of difference in spelling. Lac-Meach was incorrectly spelled the French-Candian way. In 1979, Miss Marion Meech, a great granddaughter of Asa petitioned to have it corrected to Meech Lake.
