Beaminster has several MEECH families.

My family seems to come from there but have not made a firm fix as yet! We trace back through Bow (London), Bothenhampton, Bridport, Symonsbury, Shipton Gorge----Beaminster. I was once told that the name originated in Dorset and in Beaminster. Now comes the problem to prove it one way or the other!.
