Names match up.Dates are the question.Here's my info:
I have found my birthfamily!My given name is Mary Margaret Meehan, daughter of AnnaMarie.I have two half siblings.But they don't want contact.Neither does my Uncle Jimmy.It's unfortunate, but I do have an Aunt Elizabeth that is loving and wonderful!She is my mothers sister.It has been so exciting learning my heritage.My great grandfather was Thomas Patrick Meehan m. Anne.He had many children in Sligo, Ireland.I found

Thomas Patrick came to America, yet shortly returned because he missed his family. In late 1800's returned to Ireland 1901 or so and had my grandfather William.Youngest of 12 possible children.

children:William J- blacksmith-my grandfather-the youngest of the family. He married Anne Maloney.William, also played drums for Uncle Eddie in his band.Settled in Long Island.Moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in retirement.Died in a car accident on New Year's eve around 1953-54.

Frank- played fiddle and flute with Uncle Eddied.After Uncle Eddie died, the band broke up.notes:possibly he died in 1963 in NJ. I have no other information yet on him
