dear irene, charles mehigan(1860-1939)a moulder,(cast iron)?was said to be of scottish descent?he married mary ann courtney of skibereen,who was related to thomas davis(a co-founder of the young ireland movement in 1842)they moved to 41 lough hill,cork city where they raised 10 children,their eldest was mary(b.8-21-1881d.8-6-1941)she married daniel stephen crowley.which brings us to their family tree which is a sight to behold.i am no genealogist but they have color-coded4 generations on a page that they call the rhubarb leaf on the web crawler site?ted meehan of that forum has made contact with the scottish miadhachains,itmay prove interesting?good luck,jim mehigan
