I'm also Georges grandson and Hughie Mehegan's great nephew. My dad Alan Mehegan (dec) was one of two sons to George from what we beleive was a second marrige. His brother also deceased was David and he had a sone Victor. Hughie won the British Empire Middleweight title about 1912 and i have some sporting globe articles about him. I also have the original mounted photo in a boxing pose of Hughie when he won the Australian belt. He died in France in WWI. One of our family members tried to trace the family tree some time ago, but to no avail. I would be interested in hearing from anyone about the family.
