Getting there:

The Isle of Wight Family History Society, P.O. Box 8857, Lutterworth LE17 9BJ. Wesbite is www.ffhs.org.uk, was able to confirm that James Mehigan married Elizabeth Sullivan at Newport Roman Catholic Church on 20 April 1882. The groom’s father was Timothy Mehigan and the bride’s father was Daniel Sullivan.

Still looking for

1. A second wife "Ann O'REILLY" marriage around 1887 (no records seem to exist on Isle of Wight);
2. Mother of Elizabeth SULLIVAN b. abt. 1861 in Ireland (father was Daniel Sullivan), and;
3. Mother of James MEHIGAN, BORN ON MAY 24, 1853 in Ringaskiddy, Ireland, father was Timothy MEHIGAN.
