In your research have you ever come across an Australian connection. My great uncle Hughie was a British Light Heavyweight contender and although born in Australia could trace his background to Cork. My Grandfather J.J Mehegan was awarded the Military Medal in the 1st WW and likewise hailed from Cork. Interested in any connection you might know about.
