Brigid, greetings I am Mary Elizabeth Mehegan youngest of five and named after my paternal grandmother. My father was Donald Eugene Mehegan youngest born 1915-1994? of five:
Albert, Joseph, Jack, Arlene (Anslow (1913- ) and Donald. I belive his father may have been a bootlegger, he was angry and violent by all accounts, my uncle Jack seemed autistic to me, My father seemed ADHD, I too am ADHD. I have two children Amanda Rose F. born1987 and Jacob Quinn Mehegan 1991-. My son is diagnoised with PDD/NOS,ADHD, &Autistic like. Impulse control and anger outburst seems to be easily traced in many of our family members. I am curious to know if anyone knows more historically about the NYC mehegans I understand when my grandfather left he began a second family.
I was born in Oradell N.J. 1962
