Hi Barbara,
I have a mehigan family resident in Cobh/Queenstown, Co. Cork.

Eugene Mehigan married Maria de Butleir, children:
William (may have drowned at sea), Ethel and Eugene born 1860. I am not sure where the family originated from but the Eugene born in 1860 lived in Cobh from 1911 onwards.

Does this connect with you in any way?

Pat Field
