Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you but I lost the site. It would appear (and this is not definite) that Your Great Grandfather Robert was My father's half Brother. We know that my father's father (George) was quite elderly when my father was born and that he had an older family from his first marriage. My father (Alan) who was born in 1925 was the youngest child of George who at the time of my father's birth was quite old. The family had no contact with George's other family because of the circumstances of the divorce or separation. There were six children to George's second wife. George and Huey were brothers. If this is right, Huey would be your great great uncle. I have come to this conclusion through the process of deduction from the dates but I have no definite proof.
