Thanks for your prompt reply.

Since last night I have been able to confirm the dates for my grandfather George. He was born in 1880 and died in 1941 aged 61. This was in the suburb of Brunswick, Melbourne, Australia where he had lived. My Father was born in 1925 when his father was 45 years old. George's father was named Robert. I have not been able to get any dates for Robert as yet but I do know that he is mentioned by others in the Forum. I can't tell you whether George was born in Austrlaia or whether he came to Australia later.

I will try to find out more. I will also send some photos when I can.
