I got your email and Charlotte Spence, Eileen Doody and I are all in communication with each other.
I think we may have emailed each other before. Regarding your enquiry, I have been looking on my Cork/Killarney map and Goleen (which is where Castle Mehigan was) is not far from Schull (about 9 miles) and Ballydehob is at the head of Roaring Water Bay between Schull and Skibbereen. So far I haven't been able to find Rosbrin - are you sure that is the correct spelling?
My Mehegans came from Cobh and some went to England, some stayed put and the rest went to America.
I will keep looking to see if I can find Rosbrin - if I do I will let you know.
