To all who wrote:

I want to thank all those who wrote and I owe each of you an apology for acting too hastily on this project.

The information is no longer available because while I was being the obedient mother/grandmother by posting so promptly the foregoing message, a contact was made with Mrs. Stallings (?) and the papers were delivered to her that night.

All is not lost, though. Word is getting out to those not interested in genealogy that family papers are a dear commodity and when found in flea markets, etc. every effort should be for their preservation, no matter what form.

I am indeed sorry to acted too quickly.
