Am looking for information on Meier family IN GERMANY :

b 11-10-1806 in Parm, Uckermark, Germany (Prussia)
d 13-06-1891 in Macleantown, Transkei (Farm No. 146)

Christian and his family originated from Uckermark in Germany (Prussia) where they had been farmers .

Christian married _ _ __ to Justine Sophie nee Mahnke (Mohnke)
b _ _ c1815 , d _ _ __ in Bodiam, Eastern Cape .

Christian and Justine had seven children :
Carl Wilhelm Friedrich (b _ _ 1838 in Krentz, Uckermark, d 17-03-1897
in Bodiam, Eastern Cape)
Johan Friedrich (b _ _ 1843 in Krentz, Uckermark, d 22-06-1907 in
King William’s Town, Eastern Cape)
Johan married August Wilhelmine nee Hildebrandt whose family
Gottlieb and Friedericke arrived in East London in 1859 on the
“Peter Godeffroy” . Johan, his wife and mother-in-law were
Baptized in the Keiskama River 25-07-1861 .
Johan and August raised nine children .

August (b _ _ 1848 in Krentz, Uckermark, d _ _ __ )
Herman Gottlieb Friedrich (b 15-10-1850 in Krentz, Uckermark, d _ _ __ )

Christian and Justine with their six children sailed for Kaffraria on the “Waldrahm”, leaving Hamburg (Germany) on 31-08-1858 along with seventy four families (344 men, women and children), and arrived in East London on 08-12-1858. Ten children and one adult died on the voyage .
