D. W. "Sonny" MEINEN, 88, of Bellville, passed away Oct. 17, 2001 in Houston. Survivors include his wife: Gertrude Meinen of Bellville; sister: Leatrice Beasley and husband Marty of Houston; nephews: Steve and Mark Beasley of Houston; niece: Marsha Murray of Houston. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville with Rev. Ross Worch officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to St. John Lutheran Church of Bellville or to the charity of their choice.
