My great grandmother was also from Michuachan, Aguacalientes to be exact. Her name was Juve Mejia. This was her nickname, I don't recall her real first name, but it was very similar. We all knew are as Grandma Juve until she passed away in 1984. She married Mike Cervantes from Jalisco and moved to Minnesota. Perhaps there's a relation there.
