Hi! I am searching for my roots. I never knew my father or any relatives on my fatherside. My dad left my mom when I was 3. We don't know if he is still alive. My mom never want to talk about him or at least we never asked about him. My mom passed away (it's a little too late for questions now, huh!) Anyway, all we (my 2 brothers and I) know is that, he is from Iloilo and he use to work for Manila Times before Marcos declared Martial Law. He told my mom (in Pasay City/Manila at that time) that he was going to go home to visit his mom (my grandmother) in Iloilo (1973), but he never came back. My mom then left with 3 children and no resources, went home to the province (Binalonan, Pangasinan) where she raised us the best way she could.

My fathers name is Victorio Gimotea Mejia
He is from Iloilo (Visayas).
53 years old when he left us in 1973
Birth Place was Negros Occidental

I'd really like to know/find out more about my father or any relatives. If anyone have any information, please respond to this message. Thank you...

Sincerely,
Jesusa Mejia Webb
