The names you mention do not match those in my tree, but my tree is far from being complete. Your folks could still be 2nd or 3rd cousins, etc. Also the half siblings in Yahualica sound interesting to me.

I still do not have enough information to work with about your Ancestors some things that would help are:

1. Each man's other last name from the "mothers side"?

2. Does your family have ties to local history "Cristero Revolution took place 1926 to 1929" or where were they living at the time it took place.

3. Family members involved in Yahualica Politics: mayors, etc. . . *There were Mejia's in local politics.

Maybe we could help each other with research depending on how much research you have done, or plan on doing.

I am a 30 yr old college student. For the last year I have been working on a project first started by my sister over 20 years ago.

Your family is from Central California we are scattered throughout California especially in Monterey and Santa Cruz County.
